The "Create and Grow" Law under the spotlight

Ana Flores, lawyer of the Mercantile Division of Lener Asesores, has written an article published in El Economista on the developments in the field of entrepreneurship of Law 18/2022, on the creation and growth of companies, commonly referred to as the "Create and Grow Law".
According to Ana, this law aims to "facilitate the creation of companies and support their growth, through the reduction of regulatory and financial hurdles, accompanying measures to reduce commercial arrears and boost financing through alternative platforms such as crowdfunding, amongst other aspects".
In this way, this new law enacts a set of measures to facilitate the establishment of companies, reducing the minimum share capital for limited liability companies to one euro. A one-stop shop is also set up for the electronic establishment of companies.
Other ground-breaking aspects of this law are the obligations to inform notaries and intermediaries during company creation processes.
