Gerardo Baena Rodríguez

With more than 10 years of experience in the legal sector, Gerardo began his professional career in the legal advisory department of Indra Sistema, SA, later becoming part of the Commercial Law department of Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo Abogados and of the Department of Commercial Law of Cuatrecasas as Principal Associate. 

He joined Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo Abogados in 2011, where he advised on commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, contracting and capital markets. Likewise, he intervened in the preparation of good corporate governance policies for listed companies and the entry into the Alternative Stock Market of large capitalization companies and SOCIMIs. 

In 2018, he joined the Commercial Law Department of Cuatrecasas as Principal Associate, where he advised on numerous M&A operations, mainly in the hotel, health and energy sectors. 

Gerardo joined Lener at the end of 2020, as an Associate in the Commercial Law Department specializing in mergers and acquisitions, M&A, contracting and capital markets. 

Gerardo has a degree in Law and International Business Administration and has completed a Master's Degree in Legal Advice (Máster Asesoría Jurídica) (LLM Title) at the Instituto de Empresa (IE). He has also taken Postgraduate courses in M&A and capital markets. 

Add his role as a trainer and collaborator in the Master's Degree in Legal Advice (LLM Degree) at the Instituto de Empresa (IE) and member of the Final Evaluation Tribunal of the Master's degrees and Legal Postgraduate programs of the Instituto de Empresa (IE).
