Lener signs Sergio Gutiérrez as a restructuring partner

Lener strengthens its Restructuring department with the addition of Sergio Gutiérrez Rey as a partner in the firm, in line with Lener's commitment to cross-disciplinary profiles that combine legal, financial and strategic vision to support companies in a context marked by the transformation of business models, regulatory uncertainty and the complexity of decision-making.

With over 20 years of experience, Sergio Gutiérrez joins Lener's Restructuring department, bringing with him a strong strategic, financial and operational background. His career has developed in the field of corporate restructuring, with a solid specialisation in refinancing processes, management support services, M&A, and strategy and efficiency improvement consulting, always with a cross-functional approach to business.

An industrial engineer specialising in industrial organisation and business administration from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Sergio Gutiérrez has developed his career at leading firms such as Deloitte, PwC, Minsait (Indra Group), Accenture and CLH.

He has extensive multi-sector experience in industry, retail, consumer goods, services, transport, hotels, banking, construction, healthcare, the public sector and energy, both conventional and renewable.

His incorporation will be key for Lener's Restructuring area, one of the most recognised and experienced practices at Lener, characterised by a multidisciplinary approach that integrates legal, economic and financial advice, both in preventive scenarios and in insolvency situations, with a clear commitment to providing strategic support to companies and their decision-making bodies, with a presence in all the Firm's offices: Madrid, Barcelona, Oviedo, Vigo, Seville and Valladolid.
